The Almanor Art Show, August 6th & 7th on the Collins Pine Lawn, Hwy 36 in Chester provides an idyllic setting below the trees on the beautiful Collins Pine Lawn to stroll among all kinds of finely crafted art in a variety of mediums.
Admission to the event is free so that you can save your pocketbooks to support the vendors.
Ongoing since 1969, this is Plumas County's oldest and one of the best exhibitions of fine arts and crafts in several counties. Artists from near and far grace the show with their original painting, drawings, photographs, jewelry, pottery, furniture, sculptures, wood, metal, fabric and whimsical art in a full range of prices.
The location on the cool, green Collins Pine Lawn and the surroundings of Lake Almanor in Chester offers a beautiful setting to enjoy and explore. Food vendors will provide a tasty food options— or arrange a lunch at one of Chester's eating establishments.
