Mountain Harvest revolves around one of the most impressive small town microbrew tastings you will find anywhere. Brewers and brewery owners love to come to this event to proudly share the fruits of their labors and to "talk beer" with an interested, appreciative crowd. We will have more than 20 craft brewers represented with more than 50 brews to sample.

GREG WILLIS & JOHNNY WALKER

Greg Willis and Johnny Walker fire up the stage with their one-of-a-kind guitar/harmonica duo performances. They cover a wide range styles that reflect the influence of artists such as Little Walter, Robert Johnson, Sonny Boy Williamson, Taj Mahal, and Big Bill Broonzy in their eclectic mix of standards and originals.

As a finger style and slide guitar player Willis combines blues, ragtime and bluegrass techniques to get his own unique and highly energetic sound. Walker is a master of blues harp having played since the tender age of six and is enormously popular in his home territory of Plumas County where he is known for his flamboyant playing and is considered the "most invited" and sought after musician around.

BAGBY STATION

Bagby Station hails from Mariposa County, California and shares musical arrangements specializing in intricate upright bass leads played by Greg (Tear-it-up) Torres, solid and complimentary percussions of Tom (Bring down the house) Couse, and Denise (tracker D) Ludington laying down the tracks and licks on guitar and mandolin while singing her heart out. Their original music is influenced by a variety of genres and is seasoned with the essence of story telling and poetry, keeping the conversation of folk alive.

This Mountain Harvest festival is one of the major fund-raising efforts that helps to keep Plumas Arts bringing you the countless events, services and programs all year long that helps make our lovely little county the very happening cultural Mecca that it has become. Come have a great time and support an organization that make our local way of life worth bragging about!

Plumas Arts is our region's most active nonprofit cultural programming agency. We provide art education in our schools, support local artists and performers, manage a gallery exclusively featuring the work of regional artists, host numerous concerts and events, and run the only movie theatre (that doubles as a live performance venue that hosts local and international performing artists) in a 70 mile radius. We recently renovated a historic bar into our new home-- an arts center, gallery and gift shop featuring a variety of work Made in Plumas County.

 

EVENT ADMISSION:

NON-TASTING EVENT ADMISSION is $5 at the gate.
TASTING PASSES include event admission and a tasting glass and are $35 General Admission or $30 for Plumas Arts Members* Buy tickets here.

The Fairgrounds offers overnight camping is available for $10 per site. RV hook-ups are $20.
